Project Name: Missouri Container Repair Shop

Project Scope: New Build, Design & Construction

Timeframe: Six (6) months

Description: The customer in Missouri outgrew their current location and needed to expand to a larger facility that could service up to 60 route trucks, maintain containers and house their administrative team. We designed and built a 4 bay can shop that would allow them easy access to bring in and work on their containers. This also served as their temporary maintenance shop until the full hauling company was built the following year.

The hauling company consisted of offices, conference room, common entrance, driver check-in area and meeting room, men’s and women’s locker rooms, parts storage and maintenance shop with six drive-thru bays. The maintenance shop was equipped with a fully automated lube system with dispensers set throughout the shop in easy to access areas. We installed a 10-ton crane along three of the bays to assist with heavy maintenance items and the building was tall enough to be able to utilize truck lifts as it was preferred to not install a PM pit.

The site was designed to separate truck traffic from employee traffic and the route truck parking stalls were equipped with block heaters for those cold winter months.
