Cambridge Companies, Inc.: About Us
Cambridge has developed a unique Design-Build Solution for each of our clients through streamlining the process with increased project coordination accountability, a value based project feedback system, and single source project delivery. Value is created through our team at Cambridge and your stakeholders working together to determine what methods and materials will maximize functionality while minimizing cost. When the design reaches an increased level of complexity Cambridge will work with your team to adjust the project’s budget to either cut costs or increase the budget without having to re-bid the entire project. The Design-Build Process has allowed Cambridge Companies to serve private companies, municipalities, and even large public companies with cost-effective projects completed on time.
Cambridge, founded in 1988 by Ray Eriks, develops premium quality commercial and industrial design-build projects originally in Northwest Indiana and Northeast Illinois. In 1998, Linda and Ray Eriks formed Cambridge Builders, Inc. and expanded to serve clients nationwide. On January 1, 2006 the companies merged under its current name of Cambridge Companies, Inc.
Cambridge Companies has developed numerous projects for Waste Industry clients across the United States including building new facilities, upgrading existing facilities, expansions, and repairs to serve any client need. In 2008, Cambridge, with over 20 years of success in construction & design-build, launched IN-Cambridge Architects (ICA). IN Architects & Planners, another firm with 20 years of experience, merged with Cambridge to form ICA, a full service architectural company. Cambridge Realty & Cambridge Servicing were also launched in 2008.
Cambridge is founded on the principles of exceptional client service and delivering a top quality project that is on-time and within budget. Our company is focused on being a single source for all client’s construction needs while maintaining integrity, commitment, and unparalleled quality.
